JAMMU, JULY 09: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has invited online applications for admission to class 6th at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Gharota, Jammu for the session 2027-28. The last date for submission of applications is 31 July 2026.
The selection test is open to students currently studying in class 5th during the session 2026-27 in a government or recognised private school located in Jammu district, specifically within the zones of Bhalwal, Gandhi Nagar, Marh, Kachi Chawani, Miran Sahib, RS Pura and Satwari. Candidates must be bona fide residents of Jammu district and must be studying in class 5th within the district. The date of birth of applicants should fall between 1 May 2015 and 31 July 2017.
Applications can be submitted through the official websites of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (navodaya.gov.in) or at cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs.
School heads and parents have been requested to ensure that all eligible students are informed of the admission process well in advance of the closing date, so that interested candidates can complete their registration without difficulty.
