DDC Poonch reviews Collateral Damage Cases arising from NH-44A Earth Cutting Work

POONCH, SEPTEMBER 18: District Development Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a meeting to review the issues related to collateral damages caused due to earth-cutting work along NH-44A, particularly on the Poonch–Surankote road.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Poonch Tariq Mustafa Malik; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Muhamad Sayeed, along with officers from Revenue, Land Acquisition, PWD(R&B) and GREF.

A detailed discussion was held on the cases of damage to land and other properties arising during the execution of the NH-44A road project. The concerned officers apprised the DDC of the status of the cases and the action taken so far.

The DDC instructed officers to conduct proper verification and assessment of the affected cases as per the prescribed rules and ensure timely disposal of eligible cases. He also stressed upon close coordination among all concerned departments for resolving pending issues.

The meeting concluded with directions to the concerned officers to expedite necessary action and submit updates on the progress of the cases.
