BUDGAM, MARCH 26: Two days campus plantation drive on eve of International Day of Forests culminated today at Government Degree College (GDC) KhanSahib.
The drive was organized by the NSS unit and NCC wing of GDC Khansahib from 25-26 March, 2024.
Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Akshay Labroo and SSP Budgam, Al- Tahir Geelani had jointly inaugurated the event on 25th March 2024. They were accompanied by SDM Khansahib, Tariq Ahmad Malik, SDPO Gh. Mohi-ud-Din and SHO Khansahib.
Principal of the college, Dr. Nargis Bano warmly welcomed the guests and thanked them for visiting the institution.
On the second day on 26th March, 75 NSS volunteers and NCC cadets led by NSS PO Dr. Sajad Padder and ANO NCC Prof. Asma Hussan respectively took active part in plantation drive.
