BANDIPORA, APRIL 13: In a run up to Lok Sabha Election 2024, District Administration Bandipora on Saturday organised a comprehensive training program for presiding officers (POs) and polling officer-1 (P1) to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure the smooth conduct of the electoral process.
The training programme held at Mini Secretariat Bandipora discussed various aspects of election including operating EVMs and other electoral procedures to ensure that poll staff is well-prepared to oversee polling stations and facilitate a fair and efficient voting process on election day.
Similar training programmes were held in sub-division Gurez at Dak Banglow Gurez and sub-division Sumbal at Dak Banglow irrigation Colony Sumbal.
A total of 454 PO and P1 officials attended the training programme provided by DLMT & ALMTs.
