Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Final Randomization for allotment of Polling Stations to Poll Staff & Micro Observers held for Srinagar PC

SRINAGAR, MAY 11: The final Randomization for allotment of Polling Stations to Polling Staff and Micro Observers to be deployed across 2135 Polling Stations in 02-Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency (PC) comprising 18 Assembly segments of Ganderbal, Srinagar, Pulwama Budgam (Partly), and Shopian (Partly) Districts was held here today at Conference Hall of DC Office Complex.

The Final/(3rd) Randomization was held under the supervision of General Observer for 02-Srinagar PC, Mukul Kumar in presence of District Election Officer (DEO) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, who is also the Returning officer for Srinagar Lok Sabha Seat.

The District Election Officer (DEO) of Pulwama, Dr Basharat Qayoom; DEO Ganderbal, Shyambir; DEO Budgam, Akshay Labroo and DEO Shopian, Faz lul Haseeb attended the Randomization process through virtual mode from their respective Districts.

The Randomization process was conducted through dedicated Software as per the prescribed guidelines of Election Commission of India (ECI) ensuring fairness and impartiality in the deployment of Polling Staff and Micro Observers to polling stations for 02-Srinagar PC.

All the process was video recorded as per the laid guidelines of the Election Commission of India.
Pertinent to mention that, 02-Srinagar PC has 18 Assembly Segments comprising 17-Kangan and 18-Ganderbal, 19-Hazratbal, 20-Khanyar, 21-Habbakadal, 22-LalChowk, 23-Chanapora, 24-Zadibal, 25-Eidgah 26-Central Shalteng, 29-Khansahib, 30-Chrar-i-Sharief, 31-Chadoora, 32-Pampore, 33-Tral, 34-Pulwama, 35-Rajpora and 37-Shopian.
Deputy District Election Officer Srinagar, Mir Imtiyaz ul Aziz, Nodal Officer IT/ ETPBS, Mujtaba Ahmad Banday and other concerned were present in the meeting.
