BUDGAM, JUNE 11: In a bid to augment power infra, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo today handed over 200 KVA transformers buffer stock to KPDCL funded under District Capex 2023-2024 at HQ Workshop Budgam.
The buffer stock of transformers given under District Capex will help meet demand for transformers against damaged ones especially during the peak season.
Speaking there, the DC said that the district administration is trying to aid KPDCL in meeting electricity demands of the consumers across the district.
He said replacement of wooden poles, old wires, improvement on HT, LT lines, up-gradation of both receiving and distribution stations has also begun in a big way across Budgam under RDSS scheme to ensure up-gradation of power infrastructure in the district.
Among others, CPO Budgam, Executive Engineer KPDCL Budgam were also present on the occasion.
