KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 15: As the polling day approaches, the election machinery in Kishtwar has reinforced its efforts to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place for a smooth, free, and fair election process.

In this regard, an online meeting was organized by Returning Officer (RO) for 48-Inderwal Constituency, Idrees Ahmed Lone with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of the constituency.

The meeting focused on critical topics, including Home Voting and the SVEEP campaign aimed at achieving 100% voter turnout.

During the meeting, RO reviewed the current status of poll arrangements and emphasized the need for cleanliness and readiness at polling stations.

He stressed the importance of 100% distribution of voter information slips to the voters of each ward, a key responsibility of the BLOs.

Further, the RO highlighted the role of BLOs as ground-level facilitators, offering vital instructions to ensure that polling arrangements are smoothly executed at all stations.

Special focus was placed on voter guidance during elections and the implementation of 100% webcasting at each polling station on polling day.

Reiterating the crucial role of BLOs, Mr Lone called for enhanced coordination among all stakeholders to achieve 100% voter turnout in the 48-Inderwal Assembly Constituency.

The meeting concluded with BLOs receiving actionable directives to fine-tune their preparations as the constituency heads toward a seamless and successful election.
