DC Kishtwar reviews preparations for Multi-Specialty Surgery Camp

KISHTWAR, APRIL 09: Deputy Commissioner (Chairman District Red Cross Society) Rajesh Kumar Shavan today chaired a meeting to review the preparations for the Multi-Specialty Surgical Camp being organized by Rotary International here at the District Hospital.

During the meeting, the CMO provided an update on the screening process, informing the DC that 448 patients have already been screened across various blocks for multiple health conditions. These patients are now ready for pre-anaesthetic check-ups and other necessary diagnostic tests before undergoing surgery.

The DC emphasized the need for effective patient mobilization and directed the concerned authorities to arrange transportation for the patients.

The CMO apprised the DC that all Block Medical Officers (BMOs) have nominated dedicated Nodal Officers for each block, who will collaborate closely with the District Hospital authorities to ensure smooth patient coordination.

The Medical Superintendent District Hospital informed that the pre-operative investigations and pre-anaesthetic check-ups will start from tomorrow.

He also confirmed that the operation theatres and post-operative wards have been set up in accordance with medical protocols, and all hospital staff are on standby to ensure the smooth execution of the camp.
To ensure safety, proper sanitation measures have been implemented in the hospital, maintaining a hygienic environment for patients and staff alike.

The DC assured that all necessary resources and support would be provided to ensure the success of the Rotary International Multi-Specialty Surgical Camp, which promises to significantly benefit the health and well-being of the people of Kishtwar.

The meeting was attended by CMO Dr. Rajinder Kumar, Dr. MS DH Dr. Yudhvir Singh Kotwal, and Block Medical Officers (BMOs) from all Blocks among other concerned staff.
