REASI, APRIL 28: An awareness campaign on the newly introduced criminal laws was organized today here at two venues: Government Boys Higher Secondary School (GBHSS), Reasi, and Government High School (GHS), Sanjichat. The initiative was conducted under the able guidance of the Principal, District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Reasi, in collaboration with local police authorities.

The event featured Vishal Singh Jamwal, Deputy Superintendent of Police (SDPO) Headquarters Reasi, and Satyakam Sharma, SDPO Bhawan, as chief guests and resource persons. Both officers provided in-depth insights into the three new criminal laws, engaging with students to enhance their understanding of the legal changes and their implications.

At GBHSS Reasi, the program was graced by Sanjay Dogra, Head of Department, DIET Reasi, and Vineet Sharma, Teacher. The Principal and the entire teaching staff of GBHSS Reasi actively participated in the event, contributing to its success.

Simultaneously, at GHS Sanjichat, the Headmaster and staff members, along with Rahul Singh, Teacher and coordinator of the event, played a key role in organizing and hosting the session. Rasvir Singh, Senior Lecturer at GBHSS Reasi, also contributed as a coordinator, ensuring smooth coordination between both venues.

The program successfully aimed at educating the younger generation about critical legal reforms, fostering awareness, and promoting responsible citizenship.
