KISHTWAR, AUGUST 29: Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Idrees Lone today inspected the ongoing power restoration work at Suigwari in Doda.
The 132 KV Udhampur–Kishtwar Dulhasti Power Station (DPS) line suffered damage two days ago after a tree, weakened by inclement weather and continuous rainfall fell on the tower line between Tower No. 199 and 200 near Gadsoo–Suigwari causing one tower to collapse.
During the inspection, the ACR appreciated the efforts of the NHPC and TLMD team and directed them to expedite the work to ensure early restoration of electricity. He assured that the District Administration will extend all necessary support to complete the task at the earliest.
Power supply is expected to be restored by late tonight or by tomorrow positively.
