JAMMU:  Condemning the gruesome and horrendous selective killing of the banker Vijay Kumar of Rajasthan in Kulgam, Senior National Conference leader and former Minister Mr Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today expressed concern over the Valley apparently reverting back to the era of nineties.

The subsequent IED blast in Shopian later in the afternoon only testifies the gravity of the situation, raising doubts over tackling the security situation, Sadhotra said in a statement.

The Former Minister regretted over the sense of insecurity growing among the people, saying the tall claims of the administration about normalcy stand tormented with one after another terror attacks taking place in broad day light. The scenario has to be reversed as terrorism has no place in a civilised society, he added.

Sadhotra conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family, prayed for peace

to the noble soul and strength to the bereaved nears and dears. He explained solidarity with the bereaved family at this hour of their grief.
