SHOPIAN, AUGUST 30: In order to equip the polling staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure the smooth conduct of the electoral process, a training session was today held here in the meeting hall of Mini-Secretariat Shopian.
Various aspects of election were discussed including operating EVMs and other electoral procedures to ensure that poll staff is well-prepared to oversee polling stations and facilitate a fair and efficient voting process on election day.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Dr. Nasir Ahmed Lone presided over the training programme. He emphasized to acquaint the concerned with the necessary knowledge and skills for effectively carrying out their duties during the electoral process.
He further added that the training enables officials to understand the election system and learn handling and operation of various electoral procedures to ensure an error-free election process.
Master Trainers Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Irfan Ahmad and Bilal Ahmed imparted the training to the polling staff.
