SHOPIAN, AUGUST 30: An awareness programme under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) was today held in Sedow, Shopian.
The programme was organised by District Nodal officer SVEEP Shopian, in which Principal HSS Sedow, Khursheed Ahmad, District Cultural Coordinator, Khursheed Ahmad Wagay and Sr. lecturer, Masood Ahmad were the lead campaigners.
The programme witnessed a massive gathering of people wherein they were motivated to exercise their right and cast their precious votes in upcoming Assembly Elections.
A couple of experts including District Cultural Coordinator delivered an expert talk highlighting the essence of casting a vote and power of vote.
Later, a door to door campaign was launched by various officers and officials of the Education Department for raising awareness among people of Sedow and adjoining areas regarding the essence of casting a vote.
