BARAMULLA, SEPTEMBER 05: The District Election Office of Baramulla is actively conducting Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) activities aimed at educating voters and enhancing electoral participation across all assembly constituencies of the district. Special attention is being given to first-time voters to ensure they are fully informed and ready to participate in the upcoming elections.

The SVEEP campaign includes a variety of initiatives such as rallies, street plays (nukkad nataks), door-to-door awareness programs, and the distribution of informational materials like voter guides and stickers on commercial vehicles. Mobile awareness vans are also being deployed to remote areas of the district. Schools, colleges, and community centers are actively participating to help raise awareness about the electoral process.

These activities focus on promoting ethical voting, ensuring all eligible voters are included in the electoral rolls, and providing guidance on voter ID applications and corrections.

These efforts aim to strengthen democratic participation and ensure a higher voter turnout in the district.
