Awareness drives intensified under SVEEP across Banihal

RAMBAN, MARCH 26: In a proactive endeavor to enhance voter awareness and engagement, District Administration   Ramban organised  series of activities under  Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign.

The events, conducted in the Sub-division of Banihal, aimed to brace citizens involvement in electoral process and cultivate  culture of civic responsibility.

Held under the guidance of District Election Officer Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the campaign emphasized on the pivotal role of strong civic engagement in shaping the democratic landscape.

The vibrant participation of youth, alongside members of the public and election personnel, underscored the collective commitment to fostering an informed electorate.

Resource Persons and members of the district SVEEP Cell were dispersed across key locations and institutions like ITI Banihal and Government Higher Secondary School, Tethar, in addition to other strategic areas.

Through comprehensive presentations, the resource elucidated the imperative of inclusive voter participation in safeguarding democratic principles and fortifying the electoral framework.

Assistant Commissioner of Panchayat, Ashfaq Kanji, serving as District Nodal Officer (DNO) for SVEEP, played a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the programme.
