BHADERWAH, MAY 19: In an effort to ensure the cleanliness and preservation of tourist destinations in the Bhaderwah region, the District Administration Doda organized a cleanliness drive today at Jai Valley and two other places. The initiative aimed to promote cleanliness and hygiene in these popular tourist spots and enhance the overall visitor experience.
The event witnessed the active participation of esteemed dignitaries: Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh, ADC Doda Surender Kumar, ADC Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar, ACR Doda Sunil Bhutyal, CEO BDA Bhaderwah Bal Krishan, CPO Manesh Sharma, ACD Manoj Kumar, ACP, Tehsildars, MCs, and other District/Sectoral Officers, as well as tourists and visitors.
The cleanliness drive also covered the Guldanda and Padhri areas of Bhaderwah, with various government officers, officials, locals and tourists in attendance.
The aim of the cleanliness drive was to raise awareness about the importance of keeping tourist destinations clean and to involve the community in maintaining the beauty of these areas. Participants were seen actively cleaning up the surroundings, collecting and properly disposing of waste, and spreading awareness about the importance of cleanliness.
The District Administration Doda expressed gratitude to all the participants, government officers, officials and locals who took part in the cleanliness drive, and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in preserving the natural beauty of the region. The main objective behind the sanitation drive in tourist places like Jai Valley and Padhri was to ensure cleanliness, especially with the upcoming tourist season commencing. Another objective was to clean up the beautiful spots to preserve nature. In this connection, the District Administration Doda, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh, launched a massive sanitation drive to ensure a clean and green Bhaderwah.
