POONCH, APRIL 08: Block Mankote of District Poonch, under the supervision of District Development Commissioner Vikas Kundal, has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing 1st position in Jammu & Kashmir and 99th at the National Level in the Third Quarter Rankings (October–December 2024) under the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP).
The rankings are based on the performance and progress of blocks in various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including: Healthcare, Education, Agriculture, Infrastructure, Financial Inclusion.
This initiative has fostered a culture of innovation, accountability, and community participation, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of underdeveloped areas.
The Aspirational Block Programme, launched by NITI Aayog, aims to enhance the socio-economic indicators of the most underdeveloped blocks in India, making this achievement a significant milestone for Block Mankote.
