Hyderabad, Aug 26: Congress leader and Nalgonda MP Uttam Kumar Reddy urged party workers to take an active part in the ongoing voters’ list revision process and ensure a decisive victory for the party in the Huzurnagar the next Assembly elections.

Addressing a meeting of party office bearers in Huzurnagar on Saturday, Reddy said that the Congress would win the by-election by a minimum majority of 50,000 votes.

He asked the party workers to select one voter in every 100 voters to be designated as coordinator for the 100 voters. This move, he said, would not only streamline communication and coordination but also reinforce the party’s outreach efforts.

Further, Reddy said that the Congress would win more than 70 seats to form the next government in Telangana. He said the people of Telangana were fed up with the TRS Government. “Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao cheated all sections of the society and not a single promise made with the voters has been fulfilled. Except for corruption, land grabbing and other illegal activities, BRS leaders did no other work.

He said Telangana was under the grip of sand, land, mine and wine mafias operated by top BRS leaders. He said Dalit Bandhu and other ‘welfare’ schemes have proved to be major scams with ruling party leaders extorting money from the beneficiaries. He said people were vexed by the corruption, land grabbing and misconduct of BRS MLAs.

The Congress MP requested all the party workers to work hard for the next 90 days to ensure Congress victory in the next Assembly elections. He said the Congress cadre should meet farmers, women, students, unemployed youth and other community members to explain how KCR failed to meet their aspirations.

Further, he said that the party cadre must explain the promises being made by the Congress party through various Declarations to support the farmers, women and other sections.
