Bandipora, September 16: To enhance emergency medical services in the district the Deputy Commissioner Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad, Saturday dedicated an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance to the people of the district.
The DC handed over the key of ALS Ambulance, equipped with life supporting medical equipment and staffed by highly trained paramedics, to the local healthcare authorities.
Additional Development Commissioner Bandipora, Ali Afsar Khan, Nodal Officer Coordination Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, JD Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, CMO Bandipora Dr. Rafi Salati, CMO, Senior Vice-President, ELFA International, Mehran Khan, besides other senior team members of ELFA International were present on the occasion.
The ambulance was donated by ELFA International to Primary Healthcare Center, Quilmuqam, Bandipora with financial support from NTT DATA, a global digital business and IT services leader.
The DC was informed that the ALS Ambulance is equipped to provide immediate medical attention, administer life-saving treatments, and transport patients to the nearest healthcare facility swiftly.
