KUPWARA, OCTOBER 10: In a significant step towards promoting innovation and scientific learning among students, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, today inaugurated a state-of-the-art Robotic Laboratory at Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS), Kupwara.
The initiative aims to foster skills such as coding, robotics, and problem-solving among students at the secondary level.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of CPO Kupwara, Parvaiz Ahmad; Chief Education Officer Kupwara, Mehraj-u-din Shah; In charge Principal, Mushtaq Ahmad Mareed, school faculty and students.
The newly established Robotic Lab has been developed at a cost of Rs 15 lakh, funded by the District Administration Kupwara and is equipped with modern tools, kits, and resources designed to enable students to learn, design, and create innovative technological models.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner expressed immense satisfaction over the establishment of the lab and its potential to revolutionize science and technology education in the district. He interacted with students who demonstrated various robotic and scientific models, reflecting their creativity and scientific curiosity.
He further emphasized the importance of providing access to modern techniques in rural and far-flung areas, ensuring that students are not left behind in the age of rapid technological advancement.
