POONCH, JANUARY 16: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal, chaired a meeting today in the Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex to evaluate the status of the Auto-Appeals system under the Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA) for online services.

The meeting included key participants from the Revenue Department, including the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), Tehsildars, and other important officials.

During the meeting, ADC Tahir Mustafa Malik provided an overview of the Public Service Guarantee Act, detailing the service processes, timelines, and responsibilities of the officers and officials involved.

The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the latest Tehsil-wise status of the pendency list for appeals, applications disposed of, applications rejected, and other services related to the issuance of various certificates. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the timelines set under the PSGA for services delivery.

DC Vikas Kundal directed all concerned officers to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure the prompt issuance of certificates to applicants. He underscored the significance of transparency in the process, instructing officers to conduct thorough verifications before rejecting applications and to provide clear, lawful reasons for any rejections.

For improved efficiency, the Deputy Commissioner instructed officers to maintain both physical and digital records. The officers were urged to adopt a proactive approach to ensure effective, transparent, and efficient revenue services for the people of Poonch.
