DC Poonch reviews Mission YUVA (Udyam Jagriti 4.0) Awareness and Coverage activities

POONCH, MAY 12: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a detailed review meeting regarding the coverage and awareness activities under the Culture Component of Mission YUVA.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Tahir Mustafa Malik; Deputy Director Employment Abdul Majid; Principals and representatives of Degree Colleges, ITIs and GPC Sathra along with the District Nodal Officer NRLM and all Block Programme Managers (BPMs) of the district.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of ensuring maximum outreach and participation under Mission YUVA. He directed the BPMs to prepare a comprehensive awareness and coverage schedule for Self Help Group (SHG) members and ensure their active participation and registration on the Mission YUVA portal.

All ITIs were instructed to conduct intensive awareness campaigns and achieve maximum coverage of trainees within the next four to five days.

The Principals of colleges were also directed to generate extensive awareness among students and achieve 100 percent coverage immediately after the completion of the admission process.

The District Nodal Officer NRLM was directed to substantially increase the number of applications from SHG members under the Mission. The officer was instructed to share the awareness schedule with the Mission YUVA team and simultaneously conduct awareness drives across the district to enhance registrations and application submissions of SHG members on the Mission YUVA portal.
