POONCH, JULY 22: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal today reviewed the pending applications related to Change of Land Use (CLU) permissions here at a meeting of District Level Committee.
The meeting was convened to assess the performance of the stakeholder departments involved in processing these cases and to ensure a streamlined mechanism for the timely issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
A total of 23 CLU cases were placed before the Committee. Out of these, 2 cases were approved, 9 cases were rejected on various grounds, 3 were reverted for further clarification, and 9 cases were deferred for next meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of transparency and efficiency in dealing with land-related applications and directed all departments to expedite the processing of genuine cases while maintaining due diligence.
