RAJOURI, MARCH 01: District Administration Rajouri has established a Control Room to facilitate prompt redressal of public grievances during the holy month of Ramdan.

“To facilitate prompt redressal of public grievances, a control room has been set up at District headquarters, where residents can report any issues related to power, water supply, sanitation, or essential commodities during Ramadan” Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma said while chairing a meeting to review the preparations for the holy month of Ramadan here today.

The DC issued necessary directions to stakeholder departments to ensure seamless arrangements for the public.
The Executive Engineer (Ex En) PDD was instructed to take measures to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply, especially during Sehri, Iftar, and Tarawih prayers, so that people do not face any inconvenience.

Similarly, the Executive Engineer (Ex En) PHE was directed to ensure a smooth and adequate water supply throughout the district.

To maintain hygiene and cleanliness, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Municipality was tasked with ensuring proper sanitation, particularly in town areas and around religious places.

Furthermore, Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) and Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) were directed to hold meetings at the sub-divisional level and conduct inspections in their respective jurisdictions to review arrangements and address public concerns, if any.

The Food Safety Department was instructed to conduct market inspections and ensure strict adherence to food safety standards, preventing the sale of adulterated or substandard food items.

The meeting was attended by SSP Rajouri, Gaurav Sikarwar, ADC Rajouri, Rajiv Khajuria, ADC Kalakote, Tanveer Ahmed, ADC Nowshera, Babu Ram Tandon, ADC Kotranka, Dilmir, ADC Sunderbani, Rajeev Magotra, and other district and sectoral officers.
