SAMBA, JULY 22: Deputy Commissioner Samba Ayushi Sudan today inspected the Samba–Goran road stretch to assess progress of ongoing works and review preparedness in view of prevailing monsoon conditions.
The Deputy Commissioner directed departments concerned to expedite critical works, strengthen safety measures and ensure timely completion of remaining works to facilitate uninterrupted movement of commuters, and stressed that preventive measures must be taken to mitigate inconvenience caused by the monsoon.
The DC also instructed executing agencies to maintain close coordination, deploy adequate manpower and machinery wherever required and ensure strict adherence to quality standards and timelines. She reiterated that public safety and seamless connectivity remain the foremost priorities, and called for sustained monitoring until the works are completed.
