REASI, FEBRUARY 12: As part of the ongoing initiatives under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Programme for the year 2025–26, the District Industries Centre (DIC) Reasi, functioning under the administrative control of the Director, Industries & Commerce Jammu, conducted an Awareness Creation cum Outreach Programme today at BDO Office Panthal, District Reasi. The programme was aimed at creating awareness among entrepreneurs and other stakeholders about the key interventions envisaged under RAMP, in strict adherence to the Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) and operational guidelines.
The programme also focused on promoting key flagship schemes of the Department of Industries & Commerce including the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), PM Vishwakarma Scheme and other allied departmental schemes for the benefit of entrepreneurs, artisans and MSME stakeholders.
The awareness camp was chaired by the worthy General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC) Reasi, Navdeep Wazir. The programme was attended by departmental officials Ankur Sharma and Adeish Singh, representatives from the District Office KVIB, industrialists, bank officials, former sarpanches and panches, other stakeholders and general public.
The programme witnessed active participation from various stakeholders. During the programme, participants were sensitised about the objectives, benefits and implementation modalities of RAMP and other MSME-oriented schemes. The interactive session encouraged stakeholders to avail the benefits of these schemes for entrepreneurship development, employment generation and overall growth of the MSME sector in District Reasi.
