SAMBA, MARCH 19: The District Administration Samba conducted a comprehensive training workshop aimed at equipping election staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively carry out their duties during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
The workshop focused on elucidating the roles and responsibilities of various teams tasked with monitoring the Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
Led by District Election Officer, Abhishek Sharma, the training session featured demonstrations by master trainers on the proper sealing, installation, and functioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). This hands-on approach aimed to familiarize participants with the intricate processes involved in conducting free and fair elections.
The DEO emphasized that multiple rounds of training will be conducted to ensure the proficient handling and installation of both EVMs and VVPAT machines.
Among others district-level master trainers and polling staff were present in the workshop.
