PULWAMA, DECEMBER 02: A meeting of the District Development Council (DDC) Pulwama was convened today at Circuit House here, chaired by Chairperson DDC, Syed Bari Andrabi to deliberate on the District Capex Budget for the financial year 2024-25.
The meeting was attended by DDC Members and various district and sectoral officers.
During the session, a thorough discussion was held on various aspects, including estimation processes, accord of administrative approvals, cost escalations and other challenges hindering project implementation.
The Chairperson emphasized the importance of addressing these loopholes to ensure timely and efficient execution of development works.
Andrabi urged all officers to maintain transparency and adhere to deadlines while prioritizing public welfare projects. He also called for enhanced coordination among departments to streamline the execution of the approved projects under the Capex Budget. The meeting concluded with actionable directives aimed at achieving the district’s developmental goals for the upcoming financial year.
