RAJOURI, DECEMBER 18: For the convenience of the general public of Tehsil Nowshera and Sunderbani, the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Rajouri has announced that driving trial tests will now be conducted every Saturday and vehicle inspections every Monday at the SSB Ground Nowshera, near Government Degree College Nowshera.
This initiative comes as a result of directions issued by the Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, to the Transport Commissioner during a meeting held on December 16, 2024.
Previously, residents of Nowshera and adjoining areas had to travel over 60 to 70 kilometers to Rajouri for driving trials and vehicle fitness inspections. With the introduction of these services locally, the move is expected to save significant amounts of time and fuel, while providing greater convenience to the public.
The general public has also expressed their gratitude to Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary for this decision, recognizing it as a major relief for the region.
The ARTO Rajouri has urged residents of Nowshera, Sunderbani, and nearby areas to avail this facility and ensure compliance with all traffic and vehicle fitness regulations.
