UDHAMPUR, APRIL 05: In a landmark moment for Udhampur district, Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, alongside DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Rayees Mohammad Bhat, inaugurated the Community Radio Station Udhampur 89.2 FM “Dil Ki Awaaz” here today.
While briefing the media, the Deputy Commissioner extended her heartfelt congratulations to the people of Udhampur, stating that it is a proud and historic moment for the district. She expressed her optimism about the station’s future and its role in strengthening community ties.
The DC added that this community radio station will serve as a platform to celebrate the rich local heritage, amplify the voices of the people and bring to light inspiring stories from local artists, storytellers said the DC.
She emphasized that the station will not only entertain but also inform, educate, and empower the local populace by providing them with a vibrant and inclusive medium of expression.
