DODA, JUNE 25: Deputy Commissioner Doda Krishan Lal chaired a joint meeting of the District Level Review Committee (DLRC), District Level Review and Advisory Committee (DLRAC) and District Consultative Committee (DCC) at the DC Office Complex Doda, to review bank performance for the quarter ending March 2026.
The meeting covered sector-wise and bank-wise lending under the Annual Credit Plan (ACP) 2025-26 and ACP 2026-27, the Credit-Deposit (CD) Ratio, and institutional credit flow to agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, sheep husbandry, dairy development, self-employment ventures, MSMEs and weaker sections. Progress under PMEGP, PM MUDRA Yojana, Stand-Up India, PMFME, SHG financing, PM Kisan, social security schemes and PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana was reviewed bank-wise across receipt, sanction and disbursement.
The Deputy Commissioner directed banks to ensure timely disposal of loan applications, improve rural credit outreach and strengthen coordination with line departments to extend support to entrepreneurs, farmers, women self-help groups and unemployed youth without delay. Special focus was placed on Kisan Credit Cards (KCCs), with stakeholders directed to furnish tehsil-wise and block-wise beneficiary data and enhance disbursement under KCC Crop Loans and KCC-linked financing for dairy, animal husbandry, sheep husbandry and fisheries. Banks were further directed to increase support to MSMEs, enhance education loan disbursements and expand credit coverage to healthcare institutions, schools, SHGs, distressed persons and other weaker sections.
On financial inclusion, the DC directed banks to increase Aadhaar and mobile number seeding, strengthen Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanisms, enhance financial literacy and improve the functioning of Customer Facilitation and Learning Centres. Expressing concern over low CD Ratios in certain areas, he directed all banks to improve productive lending in priority sectors and expedite PMEGP processing. The meeting also reviewed the functioning of SBI RSETI Doda, promotion of Joint Liability Groups among landless farmers and measures to strengthen entrepreneurship and livelihood generation.
Among those present were Chief Planning Officer Doda Manesh Kumar Manhas, General Manager DIC Doda Mohd Asfaq, Lead District Manager Parveen Kumar, district officers from various line departments and representatives of NABARD, RBI, Lead Bank Office, RSETI and district coordinators of different banks.
