UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 14: Cooperative Department Udhampur, in collaboration with Devika Urban Cooperative Bank and Ex Servicemen Cooperative Consumer Store Ltd, organized a financial awareness camp here at Sainik cooperative public School Tikri.
During the interactive session, Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies Udhampur, Snehal Bogal and Branch Head of Devika Bank Udhampur, Venus Chowk Branch, Pankaj Gupta made the participants aware about the cooperative movement in general and cooperative banking in particular.
The participants in the program included students and staff members of Sainik Cooperative public School Tikri. They were acquainted with the basic financial knowledge including the need for saving, power of compounding, financial prudence, personal finance management and various financial products like insurance, shares etc.
The program was organised as part of the cooperative week celebration. The program reflected a perfect example of cooperation among cooperatives which is one of the goals in the cooperative movement.
