BHADERWAH, SEPTEMBER 22: A spectacle distribution programme was today organised at Sub-District Hospital Bhaderwah under the National Programme for Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment (NPCB&VI).
During the programme, free spectacles were distributed among beneficiaries aged 40 years and above who were identified with refractive errors during eye screening. Spectacles were also provided to some school-going children requiring corrective vision support.
The initiative was aimed at facilitating timely correction of refractive errors and improving the quality of vision among beneficiaries, particularly elderly persons and school-going children.
