SRINAGAR, JUNE 18: Poster Making Event was conducted at Government College for Women (GCW) Nawakadal, today under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan–Viksit Bharat Ki Pehchan, to mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
The programme was held under the supervision of the Principal, Prof. Dr. Huda Ghalzai, and organized by the College Wellness and Student Counselling Cell (CWASC) in collaboration with the Cultural Activities Committee of the college.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Nuzhat Jan, Nodal Officer-I CWASC and Dr. Asmat Ara, Convenor, Cultural Activities Committe. Dr. Waseem, Nodal Officer-II, Prof. Rukhsana Shawl, Dr. Rashma Siraj, Dr. Khushpal and other faculty members were also present at the event.
Students of the college actively participated in the poster making activity, where they expressed their resolve against drug abuse through creative artwork and slogans promoting a drug-free society.
The posters highlighted the harmful effects of substance abuse and motivated others to join the fight against drug abuse for building a Viksit Bharat.
The event concluded successfully, reinforcing the institution’s collective commitment towards a drug-free campus and society, and aligning with the national vision of Nasha Mukt Bharat.
