GLDM Hiranagar mulls promotion of skilling, entrepreneurship promotion among students   Inks MoU with FICCI FLO-JK Chapter

KATHUA, MAY 21: Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Government Degree College Hiranagar entered into collaboration with FICCI FLO, the women’s wing of Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry for skilling and entrepreneurship promotion as regular activity in the College to undertake efforts towards women empowerment.

FICCI FLO, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh chapter is represented by its chairperson, Ruchika Gupta and young women affinity group. The said association contributes by conducting events and activities related to the promotion of women entrepreneurs, women issues, conduct special programmes and training workshops for women on relevant themes and needs.

Principal of the College Dr Pragya Khanna, appreciated the efforts of FICCI FLO, and both the parties congratulated each other and promised to look forward to a constructive outcome in near future. It was an initiative for a focused attempt at delivering for student welfare in tune with NEP 2020 and an essential component of strategic planning towards improving specific skills having a positive impact on academic success.
The faculty members who graced the signing of historic move were Dr. Poonam Kamotra, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Prof. Amit Kumar Sharma, Prof. Shapia Shameem, Prof. Surinder Kumar, Prof Ganga Sharma, Dr. Rajni Bala and Dr. Mukesh Kumar.
