According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the information was revealed by the Deputy Secretary to government for the School Education Department in a communiqué to DSEK and DSEJ.

“During the Lieutenant Governor’s Mulaqaat with citizens on December-30-2023, the School Education Department has been directed to complete the process of rationalisation of staff across the UT of Jammu and Kashmir within a week,” it reads.

“In this context, I am directed to request DSEK and DSEJ to complete the process of rationalisation of staff in schools falling under your respective divisions within a week’s time positively and submit ATR in this regard to this department,” the official said.

Pertinently, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha earlier on Saturday interacted with citizens, through video conferencing during ‘LG’s Mulaqaat’—a Live Public Grievance Hearing programme, at the Civil Secretariat.
