ANANTNAG, AUGUST 11: As part of Phase II of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), in collaboration with the District Administration and Police Department Anantnag, organized a colorful and long-distance Tiranga Bike Rally from Khanabal to Ashajipora today.
The vibrant rally created a jubilant atmosphere, allowing participants to celebrate the spirit of Independence Day and the Tricolour in a festive and patriotic manner.
The rally was flagged off from Dak Bungalow Khanabal by DYSSO Raja Yaqoob, in the presence of SHO Saddar Police Station Majid Khan, District Activity Incharge Mohammad Abbas Dar, and other officials of the Youth Services and Sports Department.
Field officials from the DYSS, along with enthusiastic participants, proudly carried the national flag as they rode through various roads and lanes, showcasing a strong display of patriotism. The bikers, adorned with the Tricolour, covered a scenic route that passed through key locations including Khanabal Chowk, Nai Basti, Mehdi Kadal, Lal Chowk, Janglaat Mandi Chowk, and Ashajipora, before culminating at Municipal View Park, Bypass Road, Anantnag.
The event witnessed warm participation from both officials and local residents, underscoring the deep sense of national pride that defines the Independence Day celebrations.
