JAMMU, DECEMBER 06: The Jammu & Kashmir Local Bodies Dedicated Backward Classes Commission visited Tehsil Billawar District Kathua and met with the delegation of OBC Community of Municipal Committee Billawar.
The delegation briefed the Commission about reservation of the seats in Municipal Committee Billawar. Several other delegations of OBC community hailing from adjoining Panchayats areas also participated in the meeting.
The Commission gave a patient hearing and assured that it will consider the demand raised by the delegations for recommending reservations to the Local Bodies in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
