SHOPIAN, FEBRUARY 24: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Shopian today organized the live webcasting of the launch of the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana, which was virtually inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
More than 100 farmers participated enthusiastically in the event, highlighting the significance of the scheme in supporting the agricultural community. Officers and officials from allied sectors, along with representatives from various departments, were also present on the occasion.
Member of Legislative Assembly Shopian attended the event as the Chief Guest, Shabir Ahmed Kullay; Additional District Development Commissioner Shopian, Chief Agriculture Officer Shopian, Senior Scientist and Head KVK Shopian & other officers attended the programme.
On the occasion, the Member Legislative Assembly emphasized the government’s commitment to empowering farmers through timely financial assistance under the PM-KISAN scheme. He lauded the efforts of KVK Shopian in promoting farmer welfare and ensuring the effective implementation of government schemes at the grassroots level.
