NOWSHERA, APRIL 23: Department of Health and Family Welfare in Nowshera, in collaboration with District Icon of Persons with Disabilities, Vinod Sharma, today organized a mega SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) rally here.
Hundreds of ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) workers from Block Nowshera participated in the SVEEP rally organised under the direction of the District Election Officer Rajouri, Om Parkash Bhagat .
The mega rally commenced from Sub District Hospital Nowshera and was flagged off by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nowshera, Babu Ram Tandon.
As the rally progressed through the main market, ASHA workers and health employees chanted slogans promoting democracy. A significant number of officers and officials also participated in the rally.
The ADC Nowshera, on the occasion, highlighted that the primary objective of this awareness rally is to encourage the general public to vote in upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in large numbers.
The rally aimed to motivate young voters to actively participate in the electoral process and ensure maximum voter turnout, thereby strengthening the core values of Indian democracy.
