GANDERBAL, MAY 08: Postal ballot voting commenced today in Ganderbal segments under the Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency, a pivotal initiative aimed at facilitating the participation of employees engaged in essential services during the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

The District Administration has established a well-equipped Facilitation Centre within the Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat Ganderbal, ensuring that the voting process is both efficient and accessible.
This setup underscores the district’s commitment to uphold a free and fair electoral process, allowing those who will be on duty during the general election day to cast their votes without any hindrance.
Throughout the day, a significant number of employees from various essential service departments participated enthusiastically, exercising their democratic right with ease and convenience.
The Facilitation Centre was established to provide a streamlined voting procedure, reinforcing the democratic pillars through inclusive participation.

The Election Commission of India’s guidelines have been meticulously followed by the District Administration to ensure every eligible voter has the opportunity to participate in the electoral process.
It is pertinent to note that the Postal Voting Centre will also be operational tomorrow, allowing more employees to partake in this critical democratic exercise.

The District Administration Ganderbal remains dedicated to ensuring that every voter has a voice and encourages all eligible personnel to use the postal ballot facility to cast their vote.
