Mission Director reviews progress of HADP, JKCIP schemes in Doda

DODA, JUNE 25: Mission Director Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and Jammu & Kashmir Comprehensive Infrastructure Programme (JKCIP), Sandeep Kumar chaired a review meeting today to assess the progress of these schemes in Doda district.

The meeting was attended by the DDC Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal, District Development Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh, district officers from agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, sheep, cooperative, animal husbandry, as well as Directors of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Horticulture Jammu and Dr. Pawan Sharma, Nodal Officer, SKUAST Jammu, who joined virtually.

During the meeting, the Mission Director Sandeep Kumar was briefed on ongoing works, financial achievements and the grassroots impact of HADP and JKCIP.

Stressing the need for coordinated efforts, Mission Director directed all stakeholders to intensify their work, ensuring transparent and timely implementation so that benefits reach farmers and rural communities across Doda District.

Highlighting the need for proactive engagement with farmers, he called for increased outreach to enhance awareness and maximize the schemes’ impact.

DC Doda assured full cooperation and reiterated the district administration’s commitment to achieving all targets.

The DDC Chairman Doda Dhananter Singh advocated for the adoption of new agricultural innovations and underlined the importance of improving soil health to boost crop quality.
