Multifarious activities held in Mughal Maidan to foster anti-drug campaign

KISHTWAR, MARCH 25: Department of Social Welfare, successfully organized a series of impactful activities in Mughal Maidan area under the aegis of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) and the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR).

Awareness programmes were held at Government High School and Al-Habib Islamic School in Dadpeth area under the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan.

The primary objective of these events was to raise awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse on individuals and society as a whole.

The day featured a variety of competitions and cultural activities, with enthusiastic participation from students.
Key activities included general awareness sessions on perils of drug abuse, besides Drawing Cum Poster Making Competition, engaging the students in artistic manifestation of their thoughts on the problem. Other programs focused on educating participants about the ill effects of drug abuse.

The event was conducted under the supervision of District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Zubair Ahmed, whose guidance ensured the smooth and successful execution of the activities.

The event was attended by TSWO Chatroo Shahnawaz Ahmad, Teachers, Students and staff from the Social Welfare Department, who contributed to the overall success of the event.
