Baramulla: A 27-year-old youth from Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Delhi on Thursday, officials said here.
An official said that the youth identified as Aadil Ahmad Bhat son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat of Hanjiwera Pattan was found dead at his rented accommodation in Delhi.
He said that his body has been sent for post-mortem and police are waiting for the arrival of his relatives.
“We are investigating the circumstances under which the incident took place,” a police officer from Delhi said over phone.
He said that the deceased was working in Delhi for the last several years after completing his education.
“A case under relevant sections of law has been registered while further investigation has been taken up,” the official added. (KNO)
