Bandipora: A 30 -year-old casual labour in PDD department died after he fell from an electric pole in Ajas Tehsil area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora on Saturday.
A police official said that one PDD lineman identified as Manzoor Ahmad Lone Son of Mohammad Sultan Lone, a resident of Garoora Bandipora, was repairing an electric cable at Ajas Tehsil of Bandipora when he fell from the pole.
He said that Lone was rushed to CHC hospital Hajin where he was declared dead.
Meanwhile, Police have registered a case and started investigation in this regard. (KDC)
