Anantnag, Nov 1,: Anantnag Police attached a double-story residential house belonging to notorious drug peddler Javid Ahmad Bhat, son of Abdul Razaq Bhat, a resident of Poshkreeri, Srigufwara.
The property, valued at over Rs 50 lakhs, was attached under Section 68F of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
Police said that this action is part of ongoing investigations under FIR No. 58/2024.
“The police have been actively working to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, and this attachment is a major step in that direction,” said the police.
