BANDIPORA, JULY 28: In view of the upcoming Independence Day 2025 celebrations, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Sumbal, on Monday chaired a meeting of concerned officers and heads of various departments to review the preparedness for the national event across the sub-division.
During the meeting, key issues including security arrangements, venue readiness, cultural programmes, sanitation, power and water supply, transportation, and healthcare facilities at the venue were discussed. SDM directed the officers to maintain a high level of preparedness and ensure public participation while upholding the dignity and patriotic spirit of the day.
SDM emphasized the importance of seamless coordination and timely execution of responsibilities by all departments for the smooth conduct of the celebrations.
