DODA, SEPTEMBER 27: Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh chaired a comprehensive meeting to review the ongoing development projects in the district being executed by the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL).
The meeting witnessed the presence of ACR Sunil Bhutyal, Tehsildars, and officials from the NHIDCL and Forest and Revenue Departments, highlighting a collective effort to address key issues associated with the infrastructure works.
The meeting discussed crucial topics such as compensation, rehabilitation of affected families, plantation in project areas, dumping of waste and road construction safety.
The DC directed the NHIDCL officials to ensure minimal disruption to the environment, emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices. He stressed on massive plantations around project catchment areas and proper disposal of construction waste.
