RAJOURI, DECEMBER 25: The Cooperative Department of Rajouri today hosted live streaming of the launch of 10,000 newly formed Multipurpose Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS). The event was chaired at the national level by Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Amit Shah.

At the district level, the program was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma in presence of officers and officials of the Cooperative Department. The webinar witnessed enthusiastic participation from the management and members of newly formed cooperative societies in the district.

The participants keenly listened to the insightful deliberations of the speakers, who emphasized the pivotal role of cooperatives in fostering grassroots-level development. Inspired by the vision outlined during the program, the cooperative societies in Rajouri reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the cooperative movement in the district.

The program concluded with Deputy Commissioner Rajouri distributing registration certificates to newly established dairy cooperative societies. This symbolic gesture underscored the district administration’s support for the cooperative sector’s growth and its potential to empower local communities.

With renewed enthusiasm, the members of these societies expressed their determination to work collectively towards achieving economic self-reliance and development in the region.
