Rana expresses deep grief over loss of lives in Reasi and Ramban

JAMMU, AUGUST 30: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic loss of lives in the cloudburst and landslide incidents that struck Reasi and Ramban districts.

The natural calamities have claimed many lives, leaving families devastated and communities reeling under shock.
In his heartfelt message, the Minister said, “Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives in Reasi and Ramban following the devastating cloudbursts and landslides. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families in this hour of profound grief.”

Rana acknowledged the scale of the tragedy and the emotional toll it has taken on the affected families.
He further appreciated the promt response of the rescue teams, including disaster management authorities, police and district administration, who have been working relentlessly to provide relief, conduct search operations and extend medical and logistical support in the affected areas.

The Minister assured that the government is monitoring the situation closely and is committed to provide necessary assistance for relief and rehabilitation.

He emphasized that all departments under his charge will coordinate efforts to restore normalcy at the earliest.
Rana also appealed to the public to stay vigilant in vulnerable areas and follow safety advisories issued by the administration.
